Commercial Real Estate Bridge Loan Origination Associate
Job located in Orange County, CA
The role will be to support our Regional Managing Director Originators in their efforts to develop new business.
Maintain the pipeline in Sales Force CRM for all deals being reviewed by originators as requested.
Be in daily contact via email and /or phone calls with Brokers who have deals pending. Calls will include learning the status of a transaction as well as collecting needed property and financial information to assess our interest.
On going review of all deals that have been submitted. Immediate call and/or email to the broker submitting the transaction. If a decline, you will be briefed on how we wish to communicate declines so as to build relationships for future submissions.
Work with Originators to assess each deal’s pricing, sizing and adherence to our Credit Policies. The associate is responsible for the preliminary valuation of deals and will utilize CoStar and various other data sources in order to determine a preliminary value of the asset.
In conjunction with our Underwriters prepare a Preliminary Deal Summary. If approved to move forward, transition the deal to the Underwriter who will prepare the term sheet.
You will then send the term sheet to the broker and follow up for execution. Once executed, the deal will be transitioned to the Underwriter for completion of Due Diligence and the preparation of the IC Memorandum, IC approval and Closing.
As we sign up new brokers into our Sales Force CRM you may be requested to log in such names send a greeting email pursuant to Originator instructions.
Minimum of two years of experience with knowledge of real estate finance
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Argus
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
